i think it would be cool in the search boards, if you could search the boards by username.
if you know of a post, you are trying to get to by a pasiffic user, yeah.. sure you can type in the search box the name of the topic, and search by only board titles, but underneath that check box it would be nice if there was one that said, search by username.. and under that you search the name of the user you are looking for.currently, the only way you can really view posts by a passific user, is find the profile, and then find the number of board topics they posted, enter on that, and then it is displayed. i think also, while there you can search for another username in the edit box, surely it would be nice to have it in the main board search?
why keep going to someone's profile, when you can just access the same feature from the board searches?also- how about just searching certain boards, and not all. say.. you want to find all the board posts by a user in the joke category, you could do that.
i agree that this is probabbly not top of the list, but i think it would be an easier way of searching.

That would actually be very useful. Being able to search for a specific user by catagory would be very useful. I have a lot on the "writer's block" but in order to see what I've posted I either need to skim thorugh ALL the posts I've made or earch all the writer's block.

I like this idea as well. Say you admire a certain user's style of writing, and you want to search for poetry or a story or essay that person has written on the Writer's Block board, or you want to see which board you tend to post to the most, or you want to look for something you or someone has specifically mentioned and you remember which board it was on. You'd be able to do all those things. I'd probably use it to play around with; it'd be cool to figure out which boards I or other individuals post to the most or least. So I also agree that this would be a very useful feature.
